JINGLE JANGLE JUNGLE

Jingle Jangle Jungle is six weeks of a roaring good time!    It's all about the sights and sounds in the jungle!  Storytime, music instruments, art projects, outdoor activities are part of this class.  Each participant will get a take home project to paint.   Your little naturalist will enjoy monkeying around with this group!  Hurry!  Class size is limited.

Principles of Collage

PRINCIPLES OF COLLAGE Grades 4 – 6
Over weeks in this class, students will create a collage about themselves. Each class we’ll talk about things like artistic statement, color selection, form, materials, balance, layering and patterns. At the end of the session, participants will come home with a unique 3D self-portrait painted on canvas. Each class will have take home project and a take-home information sheet.

After School Discovery Camp - Better Builders II Level

BETTER BUILDERS CLUB – LEVEL II            Grade 4 – 6
Prerequisite: LEVEL I (either last year or this year!)
Problem solvers and builders will learn by doing things such as the importance of triangles, for strength, suspension and other things. We’ll build challenging and fun projects including wooden bridges.  Materials will vary weekly. Each student works individually. Includes two take-home projects.  Engineering Basics Certificate.

BETTER BUILDERS CLUB I     Grades 4 - 6 

Each day we’ll bring different building materials so children can begin to use their architecture and engineering skills! We’ll plan and then build projects according to challenges and specifications. We’ll work in pairs, in teams and all together. After School Discovery Camp - Flower Power

FLOWER POWER DISCOVERY CAMP!  Grades 1 – 3

Focus on Georgia O’Keefe, Picasso, Monet and Shirley Novak. We’ll paint, design, create and study all kinds of neat things relating to flowers! Each class includes all supplies and a weekly take home project.

How many things can you make with a heart shape?  One Day of Valentine Fun!  Class includes heart-healthy activity, 2 take-home valentine craft projects, valentine card-making and cupcake decorating!  

BETTER BUILDER's CLUB

Little Engineers will love this story and building class.   Storytime first and then we'll build big towers, bridges and crazy fun sculptures.  Each class uses a different type of building material to achieve a different goal.   We'll learn about shapes as we go!   

Don't worry Mom!   It's all age appropriate!   See you on the construction site!

The Better Builder’s Club

Each day we’ll bring different building materials for home schooled children to start using their architecture and engineering skills!  We’ll plan and then build projects according to challenges and specifications.  We’ll work in pairs, in teams and all together.  You’ll want your camera ready to document the amazing creations from each day.  No supplies go home.
